Urban Classic

A popular treatment, ideal if you've never had a massage before or you just need an overall, relaxing experience.

The Urban Classic treatment is a take on the popular Swedish massage with a combination of stroking, kneading, light pressure and flowing movements over your whole body. The aim is to leave you feeling completely relaxed. The treatment will improve your circulation and flexibility whilst also easing any tension you may feel in your body. Your therapist will use his or her hands, palms, thumbs and fingertips to deliver the treatment.

Deep Tissue

A preventative and restorative treatment designed to ease tight muscles and improve flexibility.

During your treatment, your therapist will focus on areas of your body where you can feel tension and pain to release the knots in your muscles and restore their elasticity. Your therapist may use his or her fingertips, knuckles, hands, elbows and forearms on the areas where you feel tension and pain. For the best results, your massage therapist will use a combination of oils with massage strokes that are slower and deeper to that of a classic massage to cause friction which is applied across the grain of the muscles. This enables the blood to flow around your body properly. Your muscles will need to be relaxed and you may be asked to breathe deeply to enable your therapist to reach the deeper musculature.

Pregnancy

The treatment is modified depending on the stage of your pregnancy. It is not recommended to book prior to completing your first tri-mester.

Pregnancy Massage, also referred to as prenatal massage, can reduce stress hormones in your body and help you to feel relaxed and loosen your muscles. During your pregnancy, regular massages can help you cope with discomfort as well as relieve insomnia, neck and back pain, joint pain leg cramping and sciatica.
